World premiere for the new laminators “Made by Neschen” at FESPA Digital in Amsterdam. Parallel to the long-standing and successful sales of Seal Laminators Neschen restarts production of their own laminators. “Customers worldwide kept asking for laminators Made by Neschen which prompted us to take production back in our own hands,” says Lars Woltermann, head of Corporate Marketing at Neschen. “We are recognized as the coating specialist in the market worldwide. Thus, it makes sense to also offer the suitable hardware – which means laminators and print media from one single source.” In the field of laminators Neschen can rely on its many years of experience. The first own-produced Neschen K600 was presented at Photokina in 1974.

Unrivalled fast

In hall 1 (stand E 200) Neschen is presenting for the first time their hot and cold laminators Neschen HotLam 1650 TH and Neschen ColdLam 1650 to international trade specialists. Neschen HotLam 1650 TH laminates 12 metres per minute. “This laminator is unrivalled in its speed,“ says Stephan Liegerer, responsible for laminators at Neschen. “Apart from the speed the full standard configuration is the decisive quality criteria.” The new machines from Neschen are fully equipped and thus cover a large range of laminating applications. Users do not have to buy any extra components.

Flexible and cost-effective overall solutions

Neschen ColdLam 1650 was designed for basic applications and is particularly suitable for the requirements of advertising engineers and digital print service providers. The easy to operate machine is especially made for mounting and laminating of self-adhesive products and offers versatile options for picture refinement. A great number of materials can be processed thanks to the maximum width of 1,650 mm, the up to 70 °C heatable upper roller and the maximum roller distance of 40 mm. The Neschen ColdLam 1650 is also suitable for small and medium-sized display producers who want to extend their application portfolio but do not need a machine with encapsulating options. Due to the variable print and speed settings the Neschen HotLam 1650 TH is an attractive model for users who are looking for a powerful laminator without hot encapsulating option. Neschen HotLam 1650 TH has an upper roller that can be heated up to 160 °C for processing hot and heat activated laminates. A variable roller system improves processing of soft carrier materials. This version is particularly suitable for medium-sized and large materials which require an ergonomic operation and productivity. Five material feeds including a combined feed for winding and unwinding provide a high-level flexibility. An in-feed table with integrated trough facilitates handling of large format materials.

Comprehensive After-Sales Support

The development of the new laminators was focused on the customer requirements. In particular ergonomic operation, customer-friendly maintenance and operational cost-effectiveness determined the work until the premiere in Amsterdam. Customers can exchange and repair parts without any problems which provides for a cost-efficient operation and maintenance of the laminators. Trainings, a comprehensive after-sales support, the option to extend the warranty and a hotline complete the service of the Neschen laminator family.
