Future Day 2025 at Neschen – 19 Young Talents on a Journey of Discovery

Future Day – known in Germany as “Zukunftstag” – is a nationwide event that gives students the chance to explore career paths they might not have considered before. It’s all about sparking interest in technical, scientific, and craft-based professions through hands-on experiences and real-life insights.

On April 3rd, we had the pleasure of welcoming 19 curious and motivated children to this year’s Future Day at Neschen.

Together, we spent an exciting and educational morning exploring the world of Neschen. Between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., participants had the

opportunity to get an inside look at our company, explore behind the scenes, and actively take part in hands-on activities.

After a short welcome, the children were divided into two groups to allow for a more personal and in-depth experience. The agenda included two main stations: an interactive workshop and a guided tour through our production facilities, with a short breakfast break in between.

Get Creative and Get Involved – The Workshop

Things got hands-on right away in the workshop: the children were able to apply an easy dot® film themselves – a film that’s particularly easy to apply without bubbles and commonly used for advertising on trade fair stands, shop windows, or vehicles. With great enthusiasm and focus, they measured, positioned, pressed, and corrected.

For many, it was their first experience working with advertising materials, and they handled the task with impressive precision and curiosity. Along the way, they not only learned about different materials and techniques but also discovered how important clean work, teamwork, and a keen eye for detail are – skills that are valuable in many professions.

A Look Behind the Scenes – Production

A real highlight for many was the guided tour through our production areas. The children got a close-up look at how our products are made – from the initial idea to processing and the final result. Our colleagues explained the individual steps, machines, and processes in an engaging and understandable way. One thing became clear: every product is the result of teamwork and specialized expertise.

Thanks to a Great Team

A special thank you goes to all the employees who supported Future Day with dedication, time, and patience. You not only made this day memorable for the children, but also showed them how exciting technology, craftsmanship, and innovative careers can be.

We’re very happy about the positive feedback, and who knows – maybe we’ll see one or two of those faces again in a few years as interns, apprentices, or colleagues.

Thank you for visiting, and see you next Future Day at Neschen!
