Filmolux Deutschland closed the gates of their first PopUp Store. For four days the customers of the Neschen sales organization, the leading company for modern self-adhesive products and high-quality coated media, had the chance to directly experience and test the displayed products.

This unique presentation in exclusive vintage style took place at a specially hired salesroom of 70 m2 in the city centre of Krefeld. “This way, our clients and their customers are given the opportunity to get inspired and to develop creative ideas with our materials,” explains Lars Woltermann, head of Corporate Marketing at Neschen, on the occasion of the opening of the Filmolux-PopUp Store. “This store concept offers an information platform in particular for small and medium sized companies that have no time to visit big fairs on digital printing,” Lars Woltermann adds.

Ideas for further customer offerings

Amongst others, Astrid Haecker, managing director of plast laminiertechnik which offers high-quality laminations, coatings and finishes for photographs, art prints and print products in gallery quality, wanted to learn more. The customer base of her medium-sized company not only comprises printing companies, advertising agencies but also hotels, doctors’ offices and law firms. Astrid Haecker mainly uses Neschen films for finishing photographs and art prints. In Krefeld the entrepreneur fitted the PopUp Store with two acrylic glass laminations. For that, she used the protective and mounting film gudy® 831 by Neschen. The special affinity to the Bueckeburg products runs in the family. In 1997 Astrid Haecker’s husband designed the first Neschen laminator. In addition to the new self-produced, sustainable PVC-free wallpapers of the ‘Green Wall’-range, the new, self-designed laminator NESCHEN HotLam 1650 TH which laminates twelve meters per minutes, was one of the highlights of the presented products in Krefeld. Astrid Haecker even went to see the salesroom at the Südwall in Krefeld two times. “It was very exciting to have a look at the various applications and to get more ideas for customer offerings,” the business woman said. “In addition, there was the opportunity to talk to other companies of this industry in a relaxed atmosphere. At the next PopUp Store I will take the opportunity and bring customers along.” The next PopUp Store can be seen at the photo festival ‘horizonte zingst’ in the Baltic seaside resort Zingst from 28 May to 6 June. Filmolux is also planning another PopUp Store during the Viscom fair in Frankfurt from 2 to 4 November.
