This year, Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day, established as the Zukunftstag, took place on April 27. On this day, interested young people had the opportunity to find out about apprenticeships in various fields of activity at the companies. Originally known as Girls’ Day, Zukunftstag is intended to encourage a stereotype-free, gender-sensitive choice of occupation and training position. For example, girls should also take a look at “typical male professions” so that they can also consider these in their career planning. For boys, the same applies to professions in which women are more likely to work.
